Now although lock-down is easing and restaurants are now starting to open up. Understandably, some of you may not be thrilled by the idea of going out to eat. Since the number of people with COVID-19 is still dangerously high and if you’re not in the mood to venture outside to have your favourite treats – here are some DIY alternatives that you can indulge in safely at home.
Tempo Tea Bar
If you love bubble tea then you’re going to love Tempo Tea Bar. When I found out that they were selling Boba Home Party Kits I had to give this a try! You will not be disappointed as the bubble tea tasted sweet and refreshing plus the tapioca pearls were absolutely lovely! I must say, I wasn’t too keen on the addition of thick plastic straws however, it did add to the experience. Sipping away, I definitely felt like I was in a restaurant or café.

Doughlicious Gourmet Cookie Dough
Now although this Cookie Dough is a bit more expensive than good old Betty Crockers, I wouldn’t mention this if I didn’t think it was worth it! Douglicious Cookie Dough is simply amazing! Once baked you get to enjoy a soft gooey delight that melts in your mouth. If you love cookies and have a bit of cash to spend try them out (I would advise having some milk, cream or ice-cream handy!)
You won’t regret it!
Treats Club Dessert Bar
Now I’ve personally not bought anything from this place yet but it is definitely on my list! Yes – they’re selling a DYO Hot Ring Donut Kit! Doesn’t this look so heavenly?! I don’t think there is nothing better than eating a freshly baked doughnut with sweet toppings like a vanilla glaze and crumbled Oreo.

I’m really happy that restaurants are finding alternative ways for us to enjoy these treats because as lockdown persists I need all the treats and entertainment I can get while stuck at home!
